Elmar Sandyck is the creator and webmaster of Empowered Online Entrepreneurs.
During the month of October 2007 Elmar started his online venture as a complete newbie to online marketing.
Already for 12 years he worked as an independent person in the publicity industry.
A work he enjoyed a lot, but after 12 years in the same activity and still being young and vital
he found himself in a situation where he asked him the question : “Is this what I’m going to do for the rest of my life or am I going to search for new things?”
He really likes his traditional business, cause he enjoyes the interaction with people, the fact he can deliver his clients a good product that helps their business move forward and the fact that he makes a good living with this.
What he lacked were two things :
- The fact he did not learn new things anymore. He felt like he wasn’t evolving anymore as a person.
- The fact he did not had enough time with his wife and kids. He loved his work, but besides work you also need time with your loved ones, don’t you?
Cause he likes human interaction and also the psychology and the marketing ideas that you need to build any business, he started searching online for new ideas.
At that point his 2 years struggle began… 
Man he said : “Online marketing seems simple and some guru’s try to make you believe EVERYBODY can do this fast and easily, but he quickly came to the conclusion this couldn’t be further from the truth.”
Actually it is partially true what the guru’s say, EVERYBODY CAN DO THIS, but not fast and easily and ONLY if you have the mindset to go on, the mindset to not quit! As long as you have the drive to constantly learn new things and as long as you find good mentors who really want to help you and who are honest with you, you will make it.
Maybe some extremely talented people can make it in online marketing easily & fast and without a mentor. But now Elmar has grasped how online marketing works and what you have to invest in time and effort to learn all those things, he also knows that 99% OF PEOPLE GET LOST WITHOUT A GOOD MENTOR and will not make any money without good guidance.
That’s what this site is all about. With this site he wants to reach out to other people and teach them what he has learned during his journey.

When he looks back two years he is really happy he made the time and money investment to acquire this skill set to market online. He is fascinated by the evolution he has made as a person and by the fact how much he learned in only two short years.
By just making that investment he could transform himself, not to a guru, but to a guy who understands how online marketing works, and who loves to help other people to achieve the freedom an online business can give them.
