Hi everyone, how are you today?

Let’s take a break from all the internet marketing talk for a moment, because I’d like to share with you 3 simple ways to take action and build momentum.

Ever find yourself thinking about the many things you WANT to do and NEED to do but having difficulty getting these things done? Or maybe you find yourself wanting to change certain things in your life but feel stuck or fear making changes?

You retreat and keep things safe, maintain status quo, and decide to stay in a rut until who knows when. Deep inside, you want to take action and build momentum, but you can’t seem to start!

When you are so used to doing something for the longest time and you have become comfortable with a certain routine, it’s just hard to break away from it and start something new, isn’t it? And so we hesitate and linger until we muster the courage to think and feel that maybe it’s time to move on.

The longer it takes for us to do some action, the harder it is for us to get started. If you need to do it, do it now. Here’s how you can take action and build momentum:

1) Be committed.
Taking the necessary action steps take commitment. Many of us have limited commitment to taking the actions that will get us to our goals, so commit toward taking consistent and purposeful action, and focus!

2) Break it down; take baby steps.
It’s a lot easier to get ourselves to act on smaller tasks. Every small action will eventually begin to build momentum and produce results, as long as we are consistent. Make it your primary mission to move forward consistently. With each step, your confidence will also grow.

3) Don’t get obsessed with results too early.
Focusing on results too early can result to quitting when you don’t see the results you expect immediately. Focus on your actions instead, even if you’re not yet seeing the results you want just yet. Remember no. 1 in this list – be committed.

These are 3 very simple things, but very powerful once applied.

The best time to get started is NOW.

  2. You’re right, that’s the hardest one! By getting obsessed with results too early you may get impatient or even start working with a negative attitude which will hold you back from success.
