Remember my earlier post on knowing your personal brand?
As an MLM person, I outlined that whenever we step out there and connect http://siedc.org/wp/ with our public and our future prospects, we should be projecting what we represent.
#1.) Look and dress the part
#2.) Speak the part
#3.) Act the part
#4.) Do the part
Now that your prospects know you and have a fair idea of what you can offer, the next thing that you should do is to position your internet business. And this is just what Jonathan Budd talked about in his “The Online MLM Mastermind Secrets Course.”
Here Are Some Of The Important Points That He Raised In Order To Position Your Internet Business The Right Way:
1.) Do Not Come Off As A Salesman At The Initial Offer.
I really think that this is one of the worst mistakes that an online marketer can really do: to mistake his initial marketing efforts for a sales pitch. Albeit there’s a thin line between sales and marketing, online internet marketers should really make that distinction and draw the line.
2.) Instead, Share Your Value.
Sharing valuable information to your prospects is the right approach. Offer something of value that they could use first and not sell something right away.
3.) Be Different From The Rest.
It’s a competitive world out there so in keeping with your personal brand, you should stand out from the rest and offer something unique!
4.) Have Powerful Selling Tools.
Of course, your ultimate objective is a call to action from your prospect to do something. Otherwise, you will be out of business in no time! But, just know that you have to pace yourself accordingly. You could probably start introducing your product/service information on the second email and outline the opportunities that they will be getting from it.
5.) Give Relevant Information.
Wasn’t it just last week when I reiterated about how important content is? When you give out relevant information in phases, people will respect you. They will eventually acknowledge your expertise or your credibility in your niche. There’s no need to push people to avail of your product/service everyday, otherwise, they will unsubscribe.
Here’s Jonathan Budd’s formula for success:
2/3 content + 1/3 pitch or
¾ content + ¼ pitch
Keep these in mind and your prospects will not put up a wall immediately if they see your email. When you position your internet business like this, you build relationships.
